Every day, many people work hard to help keep our community safe, healthy, clean, and happy.

These special workers are called:

Community helpers are important because they help people in different ways.

Let’s meet some amazing people who help us every day!

🦷 Dentist — Caring for Our Teeth

A dentist helps keep our teeth and gums healthy.

Dentists:

• check teeth
• clean teeth
• fix cavities
• teach us how to brush properly

Dentists often work with:

• dental assistants
• dental hygienists
• dental technicians

Good dental care helps us keep strong and healthy smiles! 😁
